Cassandra Le

“Writing gives you the space to create inner clarity, leading to outer opportunities.”

Cassandra Le (she/they) is a retired marketing agency owner turned multicultural creator, marketer, and educator based in Toledo, Spain. She is also a creative facilitator and journaling guide and founder of Plans to Progress, a bilingual planning and journaling community for people who want to turn their inner clarity into outer opportunities.

She believes that when we have more space to think, dream, play, and create, we can create true change in our communities, the way we show up, and for the world. Aside from the ~fancy titles~, Cassandra is a first-generation, Vietnamese-American, now an immigrant living her version of an intentional life in Spain and Spanglish.

She has been journaling since she was 8 years old, producing content on the Internet since 13, and has used both to build a location-independent creative marketing and media agency, exploring nuanced conversations on culture and identity on her podcast, and sharing video content on personal branding, journaling, and what it’s like living abroad.

We all carry stories we didn’t write ourselves, but it’s our responsibility to uncover them and decide if we want to keep these stories.

In this creative journaling workshop, we’ll explore the people, places, memories, traditions, and values that have shaped us — and consider what we want to carry forward into the future.

Through guided journaling and an analogue creative activity, you’ll create a visual reflection of your roots, your identity today, and the legacy you want to leave behind.

Date: 8 November 2026 – Day 2

Time: 11:00 – 12:00

What happens when we use journaling to trace the threads between where we come from, who we are today, and who we are becoming?

Inspired by my month-long journey through Vietnam with my family in 2024, journaling became a bridge to my ancestry, heritage, and sense of belonging.

While traveling from north to south Vietnam alongside my parents, who were experiencing their home country as adults, and as someone who has built a life abroad — sparked questions about identity, lineage, memory, and what we carry with us across generations.

This session explores how putting pen to paper can help us reconnect with the past, make sense of our identities in the present, and imagine the legacy we want to create for the future.

For anyone who has lived abroad, moved countries, grown up between cultures, or simply wondered where they belong — this is an invitation to explore the stories we inherit, the ones we carry, and the ones we get to write ourselves.
