“I love the sound of pens scribbling in a room full of people, knowing that every word, whether it dances or stumbles, holds insight. It blows my mind how much we can get out of such a simple practice. Journaling grounds us, expands our thinking, and inspires us to be more fully ourselves.”
Journalist, author, yoga teacher, mindful journaling facilitator, and partner in Good Life Designed. With 30+ years of experience in journalism, and writing, and 15+ years working professionally with journaling and life design, I guide people to reconnect with themselves, gain clarity, and create more intentional lives.
I am the author of four travel and interior books and co-author of Design Your Life (originally published as Hvis dit Liv var et Køkken), written with Pernille Spiers Lopez—the founder of Good Life Designed, former Global HR Manager and North American President of IKEA. This collaboration led to my involvement with Good Life Designed, where I now co-create transformational programmes, workshops, and retreats combining reflection, values, mindfulness, and intentional living.
Alongside my work with journaling and mentoring, I have spent over three decades writing for newspapers and magazines in Denmark and internationally.
I facilitate regular mindful journaling and creative workshops, online and in person and have worked with charities, schools, businesses, and communities internationally, including collaborations with Moleskine, the International Police Association, and other organisations.
Originally from Denmark and have lived in London for 20 years.

Explore what becomes possible when you slow down, listen inward, and give yourself space to reflect.
Inspired by yogic philosophy, this mindful journaling experience is like a yoga class for the mind, combining meditation, self inquiry, thoughtful prompts, and gentle guidance.
Journaling becomes a practice of listening. A way of hanging out with yourself long enough to hear your own voice, your wisdom, and the things that are often hidden beneath the busyness of everyday life.
Having experienced the toll of constant stimulation, busy schedules, and internalised expectations myself, I believe deeply in the power of the pause. This workshop creates a space where you can meet yourself with honesty, self compassion, and curiosity.
The page meets you exactly where you are and holds space for it all, the clear, the messy, and the uncomfortable. Like rolling out a yoga mat, the journal meets you as you are. It can become an anchor, a mirror, a playground, a problem solver, a patient non judgemental listener, or simply a supportive companion.
Explore an intuitive and expansive approach to journaling that nurtures calm, creativity, awareness, and self trust. Discover what the practice can offer you, both on and beyond the pages.
Because writing things down is only the beginning. Insight happens on the page, but life happens beyond it.
